Let me introduce myself by saying hi. My name is Ariana Cheatham. Student. Cook. Foodie. I’ve been pondering making a Substack for a while now since I have my website and Instagram, but this is another great way to get my thoughts out there and share some of my favorite recipes and tips/tricks with you all. Consider this like a weekly recap of everything I’ve been doing in regard to food, tips/tricks I’ve learned from some great chefs in the area, and a place for cooking inspiration if you need it!
Food has given me many great opportunities, and I cannot wait to share all those fantastic opportunities/memories with you! Especially the memories I have! Growing up, it brought my favorite people together by continuing that tradition of hosting dinner parties. It has brought me so much joy and comfort throughout these challenging months. I love my people!
I started this Substack to completely nerd out about food, get mushy gushy about the things that I love/recommend, create lists, and interview other friends in food! I adore the culinary world and all that it has to offer, and I can’t wait to talk to you about anything and everything that goes on!
Each week, I plan to share my thoughts, what’s inspiring me, and what's exciting to me in the food world. Whether that be a short essay, a chat between a chef/cook and I, or even something I had created/developed throughout the week! I promise you it might possibly be chaotic, but good nonetheless!
